PRIVACY POLICY

Private until you connect a chat.

MaglaSync Free keeps one project's continuity locally in your browser. It has no MaglaSync account, analytics, advertising library, AI API integration, or backend.

What MaglaSync can access

The extension panel is available on ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Merely opening one of those sites does not let MaglaSync save a conversation. You must explicitly connect that exact chat to your current project first.

After connection, MaglaSync may read visible user and assistant messages in that chat solely to maintain the project journal and prepare continuity context. A background check rejects data from unconnected chats, the wrong platform, or an older project goal.

What is stored

This information stays in the extension's local browser storage. MaglaSync does not sell it, use it for advertising or credit decisions, or transmit it to MAGLA or a MaglaSync server.

Review and sending

MaglaSync does not automatically load or send context. You choose Review context, can edit the full handoff, and then choose Place in chat. You press Send yourself. Only then does the selected AI provider receive that text under its own privacy terms.

Your controls

Backups and sensitive content

User-initiated JSON backups may contain project messages and are not encrypted. Store them carefully. MaglaSync does not intentionally store cookies, passwords, access tokens, authentication information, payment data, precise location, or browsing history outside the supported connected chat pages.

Limited use

MaglaSync uses connected-chat content only to provide the user-facing project-continuity feature. It does not transfer that content for advertising, allow people to read it, or use it for an unrelated purpose. Material privacy changes will be documented in the public changelog and released as a new extension version.

Contact and source

Review the public source code or open a support issue without including private conversation text.
